Beginning to a New Life

A new beginning of life that begun with the beginning of my dream. The life got a release from the clutches of boredom and numbness. The beginning that can only match the happiness of buying a new house from https://housing.com/

True that right criticism will lead to improvement in the longer term, I still see a lot of pessimism when it comes to the financial state of the 80% of the population of the country. It's more than 67 years of independence and we still have majority of population below poverty line. But the hope is not lost yet. We are progressing at our own pace and very soon we would reach the position we are aspiring for. And this belief of mine only gets stronger on almost daily basis. I would like to share a very recent experience which fills me with hope and positivism.

Just a few days back when I was returning back to my college hostel after an eventful term gap, I happened to meet a person that changed my understanding of a section of our society. I am talking about the section that is not privileged enough to enjoy the perks of a good quality of life. The section who have to struggle for their daily bread. The auto-rickshaw driver that dropped me to my college premises was interactive from the very beginning. He was probably in his mid 50s and had seen a lot in life. The conversation started with his inquisitiveness about the college in which I was studying. I shared with him how engineers today go for an MBA course post graduation and may be after some corporate experience and why I decided to take the similar path. I told him about the career opportunities and growth prospects that a post-graduation certification brings to the kitty of an engineer. Apparently he had never heard of such structure and his next question was on the cost of pursuing this higher education and whether one can expect good returns in terms of job guarantee from the campus itself. I shared with him all the details and he was quite excited to hear everything. More so because his daughter was pursuing her engineering degree. He shared with me how he took troubles to ensure that her daughter gets good education. He shared why he chose to save all the money for her daughter and cut down on the wasteful expenditures which is common in his community-space. I was impressed with his understanding of the importance of education and the empowerment it brings to an individual. I was impressed with his approach towards attaining maximum output from minimum resources. And I was impressed with his attitude that daughters are not a burden over her father and why female education is so important. He promised me how he will prepare his daughter for the higher education and will do everything to ensure that she gets all the financial help. This half an hour conversation with the driver filled me with happy optimism. Yes, the future of our country is very bright. "Focus on education" and "equal rights for all" are indeed the only way our country can progress and this is being recognized.
